NEWFC Recreation Committee

NEWFC Recreation Committee Purpose Statement:

To bring diverse recreation stakeholders together to develop and implement a recreation vision for the Colville National Forest and Northeast Washington.

Goals:

Develop a Colville National Forest recreation vision proposal and map.
Work with the Coalition’s Project Committee to have recreation infrastructure development, roads-to-trails considerations, and maintenance priorities considered as part of stewardship projects.
Collaborate on trail maintenance, construction, and trailhead infrastructure funding efforts.
Attempt to find solutions to recreation related disputes and challenges in northeast Washington.
